Certification Goethe Institut
The association GATA offers its members, who attend the German language course during the season 2011-2012, a preparation for certification on level A2 and B1.
Course period:
Tuesday, 6 March, to Tuesday, 15 May 2012
Examination date:
Monday, 21 May: Level A2 (written exam)
Tuesday, 22 May: Level B1 (written exam)
Wednesday, 23 May: Level A2 AND B1 (oral exam)
10 selected candidates: 6 March 2012
Closing date: Monday, 19 March 2012

Partnership with the tour operator « Tropical Tour » during the cruise season 2011-2012 (German cruise passengers).
10 German speaking members have been selected by demand of “Tropical Tour”, so that they can do the special German-guide training. They will be employed as guide for the “AIDA and the Costas’ “(German passengers).
-GATA association has been contacted within the “KARUKERA TRIATHLON” 20th November 2011. This will favour exchange with German participants.
Exhibition “Caribbean village
The Association GATA will take part at the special Exhibition “Caribbean village” to promote the local and tourist production, in Carrefour Destrellan- Booth of Tourism board Guadeloupe- on Tuesday the 26 july. Exhibition 25 to 30 july.

GATA-VOUKOUM
Partnership with « VOUKOUM », a famous carnival group.- Saison January to March-.
« VOUKOUM » will be organising with GATA members the carnival parades in the streets of Basse-Terre. All the persons who have interest in the cooperation between Germany and Guadeloupe cooperation are invited to join them for the different parades. Each participant will make his/her own mask and costum before parading. Programme: -On the 21 January from 3 to 5 P.M “Special French-German journey, in lycée Baimbridge in Gosier in memory of the French-German national day (22 January each year). During this journey a parallel will be done between Germany and Guadeloupe around the origin and signification of carnival in both countries.
